Giving should be, uh…that: giving. Not investing. Just giving. Not waiting for a response. Just giving. Not to get back. To give, expecting nothing in return.

Let’s give giving a try. When we need, let us give.Pause: Giving

Holding too tightly on what belongs to us can lure us toward the reality of those possessions holding too tightly on to us.

Great examples? People believing in God’s love even when that belief might cost their lives. People giving gifts to others—without even putting their names on it. People realizing their “things” are just that: “things.” People sharing meals, money, food, clothes, and time. People loving people enough to give to them. Giving. Just giving. Expecting nothing in return.

That’s not always easy. For me, it isn’t.

But it is right.

Let us give.
