Some guests surprise us with a visit.
Some guests surprise us when they return for another visit.
Some guests surprise us when they don’t run away, but stay a little longer than expected.
On a recently Saturday, a guest surprised us.
That morning and that afternoon the guest surprised us. Not once. Twice.
It left. But returned.
We need more friends like that. From a visit to more visits. From a moment to more moments. Instead of running away, choosing to stay a while.
Endurance. Time together, then more time together.
The first is prayer, I am getting more use to involving it in my everyday life. The second is service. We need to copy how Jesus walked while he was on earth. He served us all by doing what he did to allow us to be able to go to heaven. Thirdly is guidance, without this we would get lost.
