He is Father, Creator, Sustainer.
He is the beginning and the ending.
The one who sculpted the hearts of
every person ever to live and move.
He is the breath in our lungs.
He is the divine architect,
the ultimate and supreme being.
He is holy, blameless and self-sufficient.
He is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent.
He is just and right,
unable to be in the presence of sin.
All that has ever been and ever will be,
He is.
He is the Son of the One True God,
our perfect example.
The Savior of a broken and damned world,
the only one holy enough to stand in the gap.
He is our mediator,
the only one worthy to speak to the Father.
He is our sacrificial lamb,
the only one pure enough to take our place.
He is the obedient one, the selfless one,
the one who walked in our shoes taking the punishment
never meant for him. He is the solid rock,
unmovable and unquestionable.
The picture of God the Father on earth.
He is the Holy Spirit, our revelator, the helping one.
He is our constant guide, our conviction, our peace.
The one who hides nothing but willingly and patiently
guides and advises those who listen.
He is the personable one,
the wind in our sails,
the fire in our souls.
He is the calm within
when the world around rages on.
FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT, 3 IN 1
We call upon you to bring us into deeper relationship with you, never fearing intimacy with you. Forgiven and cleansed, we desire your presence. Humbly we express our total dependency on you for life, breath, and eternal life. Teach us what it means to be “IN CHRIST.” May you be our dwelling place.
This is so beautiful!
Dr. Pasko mentioned you and I wanted to reach out to you in regards to getting to meet you. I didn’t know your email so I hope this is ok for me to write this on here. Your post was truly beautiful, I loved every word!
My favorite part is Jesus being the only one holy enough to take our place even though he was completely undeserving. But it had to be him because otherwise, the sacrifice wouldn’t be enough to cover us!
Thank you God for being who you are! What a beautiful explanation of all the three parts of the trinity. Thank you for being obedient to what God is doing in your life.
That was so great to read. It gives us a great reminder all the things that God does for us each second of everyday.
Beautifully written. Reading about the Father, Son, and Spirit reminds me of His realness and of His closeness. “He is our sacrificial lamb,” – wow – yours and mine. Each relationship He has with us is unique, yet each one is so authentic and completely full of love and grace.
My favorite part is, “He is just and right, unable to be in the presence of sin. All that has ever been and ever will be, He is.” because relates back to God being ‘I am’ and the wording shows the relationship that the Father has with sin, which is what damages our relationship with Him.
This is honestly a great piece to read! God is always within us and within everything. There is no question. Everything God does is so amazing and am so thankful I get to carry out my life with him guiding me.
“All that has ever been and ever will be, He is.” This such a powerful part of the poem that touches me in ways that made me think about how God is the most powerful being to ever walk. Everything about this poem is great and it gives me the strength to lean on him on my good days and my bad days.
I really enjoyed the part where you talked about him being the “personable one”, he is everything in our lives that make us go. I also think a lot of people tend to forget that God is also our peace, we need to “let go and let God” and not stress about the world around us with things we cannot control because like you said “he is the calm within when the world around rages on.” Great post
