Time travels rapidly. Another year ends; a new year is beginning.
What should you do about it?
We can’t slow the pace of time but we can learn from our past. We can’t change the dates but we can pursue clear goals. We shouldn’t live in denial but we should face reality in healthy ways. We don’t know details of what 2018 entails but we can bring along hopes and dreams, adding guidelines on how to do all we can to see those hopes and dreams become realities.
So what will you do?
How will you manage your time?
How will you improve your daily routines?
What selfish ambitions should die?
What dead dreams should be reborn?
What consistent steps should you take to help those dreams come alive?
Who should you meet with and speak to regularly?
Add more questions. Ask yourself what you learned from 2017 and what stories you hope to tell about your adventure through 2018. Design a plan. Expect surprises but pursue healthy goals. Adjust, restart, accept, make a few turns. But dream and pursue and endure.
Let 2018 be a year of dreams becoming realities.
You can’t slow time. But let’s make the best of the race. Let’s begin now.
Great advice. Have a God-directed New Year, my friend.
