“Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”Forgive

Ask yourself how you feel about that portion of the prayer. When you pray it, do you mean it? Most of us want God’s forgiveness, but are we fulfilling our end of the deal? Are we forgiving those who anger, offend, and hurt us? Are we forgiving those who’ve wounded the people we love?

God eagerly forgives us, and we have wronged Him much worse than any person could ever wrong us. He loves us as if we had never hurt Him. Because of God’s willingness to forgive us, we are to forgive others freely.
